This Software License Agreement governs your use of the AIShelf IDE extension and related services. By installing, accessing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this License.

Proprietary Software

The AIShelf Software is proprietary software owned by AIShelf and its licensors. This License does not grant you ownership of the Software, only a limited right to use it under the terms specified herein.

License Types

Free License

Subject to compliance with this License, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

Install and use the AIShelf IDE extension on your personal devices
Connect to public AI resource registries
Create and publish AI resource packages
Access basic features as defined in our service tiers

Paid License (Subscription)

Paid subscribers receive an extended license that includes:

All features of the Free License
Access to private registries (subject to repository owner permissions)
Priority support
Advanced features as defined in the subscription plan
Team collaboration features (for team/organization plans)

License Scope

This License permits use of the Software for:

Personal Use: Individual developers using AIShelf for personal projects
Commercial Use: Businesses and organizations using AIShelf for internal purposes
Educational Use: Students and educators using AIShelf for learning and teaching

License Restrictions

You may NOT:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
Remove, alter, or obscure proprietary notices
Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Software
Transfer your license to another party without written consent
Use the Software for illegal or unauthorized purposes
Use the Software to develop competing products
Circumvent technical limitations or access controls

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Ownership

AIShelf and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in:

The Software and all copies thereof
All intellectual property rights in the Software
All trademarks, service marks, logos, and trade names
All documentation and materials related to the Software

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to AI resources, packages, and content you create using the Software. By using the Software, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content to provide the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind.

No warranty of merchantability or fitness for purpose
No warranty that the Software will be error-free
No warranty that defects will be corrected
No warranty that the Software is free from viruses

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK: You assume all risk associated with using the Software.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

AIShelf shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
No liability for loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
No liability for business interruption or loss of goodwill

Maximum Liability:

• Free License users: $100 USD
• Paid License users: Amount paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
